Laura’s
recipe for Chocolate Crème
Bars is a family recipe passed down from
Laura’s
grandmothers caretaker to her mother, and
then to her. The family name for the recipe
is “Brian’s
Favorite Dessert” since this recipe
is also Laura’s brother Brian’s
favorite dessert. (Laura felt she should
change the name
for greater audience appeal). Laura loves
the recipe since she is a mother of two little
children
and says, “It’s great tasting
and quick to make.”

Kori adapted the
recipe
and entered it into the contest. She
says, “this
recipe is a Hall family tradition, made
each year for the family holiday Christmas
party,
and guess what...it's the first thing to
