Congratulations Jennifer Young!
It's
no surprise; our 2002 Very Best Baker of the Year loves to bake!
Jennifer says, "I am hooked on it. It is a stress reliever
for me. It really relaxes me." What a great idea! A relaxing
baking session almost always ends with the fantastic smell of
fresh baking in the kitchen and a homemade treat to enjoy.
The
2002 Very Best Baker of the Year Sweepstakes winner was drawn
randomly from all the Very Best Bakers who earned more than
1000 Brownie Points in 2002. But Jennifer racked up more than
1500
Brownie Points! What kept her coming back?
"I like how VBB breaks the recipes into different levels
- difficult, challenging, quick-n-easy, so you know what you
are getting
in to," Jennifer confesses. "I like the quick-n-easy recipes." Jennifer
lives in New Hampshire with her husband and five-year-old
son. And as any mother knows, quick-n-easy recipes are a must when
you have a young child.
To stay connected to other bakers,
Jennifer interacts with the Very Best Baking community through our many sharing
opportunities. "The
swapped recipes are my favorite part. I love getting new
ideas and reading the recipe reviews from others." Maybe you can
swap a recipe with Jennifer. Or offer a recipe review for
her, and other Very Best Bakers, to read before they try the recipe
themselves.
You'll earn Brownie Points and, quite possibly,
you can be featured next year as the 2003 Very Best Baker of the
Year.
Be prepared.
Winning (the grand prize of $1,000 gift certificate to
Cooking.com) does have its share of tough decisions.
Jennifer explains, "Oh
I've got plans but so does my husband! I would like the
Kitchen Aid Mixer and a bread maker...and a few things
for my husband
also. We are trying to decide."
Congratulations to
Jennifer Young (and her husband). And good luck to
all those earning
Brownie
Points for
the 2003
Very
Best Baker of the Year Sweepstakes!
