A treat for the more sophisticated palate. With the perfect mix of salty and sweet this chocolate bark is a unique dessert sure to impress.

Ingredients:

Directions:
LINE 8-inch baking pan with wax paper.

MICROWAVE chocolate in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 45 seconds; STIR. If pieces retain some of their original shape, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until melted. Stir in 1/4 cup almonds.

POUR into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining almonds. Tap pan several times to spread chocolate and settle nuts. Sprinkle with sea salt. Refrigerate for about 1 hour or until firm. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container at room temperature.

Recipes makes 1/2 pound bark.

Comments: This recipe was quick and easy, though still good. The sea salt gave it a little 'something extra.' We are in an area that produces pistachio nuts, so I used those and they make a great addition.

Comments: With dark chocolate and sea salt being so popular, this recipe has been a big rave whenever I make it to share. I have used spiced glazed pecans and it was equally as great.
