Really simple to make if you pay attention to the details, and just take your time. Nice presentation. Well worth the effort, and was delicious!

Probably my fault or my oven's fault but we were really looking forward to having the molten middle come out when we cut into it but it was baked all the way through. I followed the recipe exactly. The taste was excellent and I will try it again soon to see if it was the oven's fault.

I have a recipe simular to this. Can put in fridge 2hr before baking. When bake, add a minute or two to baking time. Also, can "reheat" in microwave, still takes GOOD!

I must have done something wrong! I followed the recipe to a 'T' but there was no molten middle and the cake part had an odd consistency... Maybe I should give it another go based on other reviews but so far, two thumbs down :(

This is a fantastic recipe! I needed to make a chocolate birthday cake for my husband in a hurry and this recipe was so easy and delicious! Since there were only the two of us, I halved the recipe using two eggs and one egg yolk. I poured the batter into 4 small custard cups and baked them for 12 minutes and almost burnt them. I would only bake them 10 or 11 minutes if I used the smaller custard cups again. We ate the two leftover ones the next day cold and they were delicious that way too!

So simple to make -- so impressive to serve to guests and very yummy to eat -- why pay the restaurant when you can make this yourself.
