I have made these bars so many times and each time someone asks me for the recipe!! I add a little more brown sugar and no nuts. I also drizzle more jam on top than they call for. I have also used strawberry seedless jam to switch it around and again everyone loves them!! A must to try!!

I didn't use nuts, but instead I switched it with morsels, it turned out gooey, but was fine. I also added more raspberry, and it's perfect!!

I was a little dissapointed. I had trouble baking them, I actually had to leave them in the oven 10min longer then said and even then the center was still gooey. The bars never became stiff.

These bars satisfy that craving with a fantastic blending of flavors that won't soon be forgotten. Who can forget rich chocolate, fruit, and the smooth buttery flavor in the crust, no one!

Great recipe; I altered it a bit (for ease of preparation) by using a sugar cookie mix that I had on hand as the base/crumble. I also substituted milk chocolate chips for the semi-sweet. There's definitely plenty of chocolate; I upped the amount of raspberry so that it wouldn't be overpowered. Took these babies to a Labor Day cookout this weekend and they were GONE before the other desserts had barely been touched! Very easy and very tasty!
