We are addicted to these cookies!
by B. Barbara , Houston, TX on Sep. 2011
I increased the peanut butter to 1 cup, used half crisco & half butter, used semi sweet chocolate chips, omited the sugar topping & did not flatten the cookies. Everyone that tastes these cookies asks for the recipe. They are fabulous.
GREAT!
by C. Courtney , KY on Sep. 2010
These cookies were great! I couldn't get them out of the oven quick enough for my company. My husband loves them. I am sure I will be baking again. I did add a 1/2 c. more flour than it called for!
Great with PB Chips Too!

These cookies are the perfect mix of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth goodness. I am unable to eat chocolate, but I added peanut butter chips, and they worked very well.

These are sooo good and so easy! Very light & delicious! I will totally make again! A nice alternative to regular chocolate chip cookies.
YUM-E
by S. Sharon , Azusa, CA on Jun. 2010
I know 'YUM-E' is not a word, but, these cookies are great! I altered it by adding a teaspoon of cinnamon and added about 1 3/4 cup oats.
Definately worth a try
by M. MARY , , on Apr. 2010
This recipe makes a very tender cookie with a light peanut butter taste (not overwhelming). The only alteration I did in the recipe was to use 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening. My family LOVES them--a little too much!
Peanut Butter Lovers

I used peanut butter chips instead of chocolate chips for an amazing peanut butter cookie. I brought them to work and they were gone before lunch. Still soft and chewy after a couple of days.

I agree you couldn't really taste the peanut butter very well, so I upped it to 3/4 cups peanut butter and they are yummy!
