These are hands-down my favorite cookies! I have baked them for holiday cookie exchanges the past 2 years, and I'm sure the tradition will continue because everyone would be disappointed if I brought something else! They are AMAZING warm from the oven, but they are still delicious after a day or two. Irresistable!

This recipe is very similar to my Russian Teacake recipe, which does not have chocolate chips. They are requested every year by family & friends for Christmas.

We've been making these cookies since I was a little girl, and we LOVE them! They've come to be my "specialty" cookie and are loved by everyone, including Santa! He actually sent a letter requesting them this year.
