I made these for a friends and family cookie "contest" and it won first place out of 12 cookies. My family LOVED them and they are extremely picky eaters. I have had several requests for the recipe. I had to bake them a little longer (15 minutes) to keep them from being sticky on the outside, but it could just be my oven.

I came here to check out the pumpkin roll recipe, but had to look at everything. Then I found this one, printed it and went to baking! I only changed it to 1/4 c sugar & 1 c splenda. They baked up perfectly and the filling is delicious too. Hubby couldn't wait to try one and LOVED it too! A batch is coming with us to Thanksgiving dinner at my best friends house.

I made these last night and brought them into work with me today. They were a definite winner. And they were very easy to make as well.

Not having the time to make so many small "cookies" to properly prepare the recipe, I made larger drop cookies and then iced them with filling once they were cooled, YUMMY warm muffin-top textured cookies... I even added nuts to a few. I will make these again.

I halved the amount of sugar called for in both the cookies and the filling and this recipe still tastes great!
