This spectacular pie combines the "traditional" pecan pie with a distinctive chocolate flavor. What a wonderful way to complete a special meal.

I have made this pie more times than I can count, including my son Ben's going away Thanksgiving dinner before he left for Air Force Basic Training this year. It never fails to perform perfectly, looks beautiful, and has the perfect combination of chocolate/pecans. If you haven't tried it, you won't be disappointed!!

Lower Calorie and Still Great!
by M. Marty

I substituted low-calorie sweetner and even used the new low-sugar corn syrup, along with an egg substitute, and the results were still great. Instead of over 500 calories a slice, it now comes out to about 300 -- much more manageable to anyone who wants a special splurge but still concerned about calories and fat. One thing I did not cut were the real Nestle chunks!

This is very easy to make & my family loved it! The filling doesn't separate after it sits for awhile like the one I have been making. This will be the pecan pie I make from now on.
