Not what I expected

The recipe is sound, it's just not what I expected. It is very much a BREAD as the title indicates. I was hoping for more of the super moist pumpkin loaf (like you get at Starbucks) but this is more like a homemade wheat bread texture and consistency. Good flavor though, I will definitely eat the whole thing.

Great pumpkin bread, very moist, and the apple juice and brown sugar give it the right sweetness. I baked them in 3 small mini loaf pans, just right for me and my husband.

I really enjoyed makeing this, tasted exactly like what my dad used to make at home. The only down side was that it took forever to cook, and since I cook in a comunal(sp) kitchen in my dorm it was a little annoying haveing to sit around for an hour...but that's probably specific to me!
Overall it was really tasty and a hit with my friends

I love this recipe with the healthier ingredients. I also occasionally enjoy adding raisins, dates and nuts for a variety and to get more nutritional foods into my family.

This is so quick and easy! It is easy to double the recipe. I like to make 1 loaf like the recipe states and add chocolate chips to the other one. My toddler LOVES this bread. I added some baby rice ceral into the mix for more vitamins and minerals.

I made this according to the directions and all my friends loved it. I was originally looking for a cake recipe made with pumpkin but there wasn't one. Now there can be. I thought I would use a bundt pan for a beautiful presentation. I added chopped walnuts to the original recipe and doubled the oil and apple juice for a more cake like consistensy. It baked beautifully, looked wonderful and tasted just as great as the original. Try it!!!
