I baked these cookies for a meeting at work. Other employees also brought cookies. Mine were gone first, and I was asked for the recipe! They remind me of pumpkin rolls. Everyone loves them.

One of My New Favorite Cookies!

by M. Madeline , Carriere, MS on Oct. 2008

I made these cookies and shared them with my neighbor and family. I know that something is a winner when the platter is almost empty when I leave. This one definitely passed the test! The cookies are so moist and the frosting so appropriate. I toasted the chopped walnuts that I'd reserved for the cookie tops. This adds another layer of really good flavor.

Excellent!

I made these last year, and they definitely made a big hit with my teenage son & my husband. They make very good bake sale cookies too!

A party hit!!!

by C. Christina , LONG BRANCH, NJ on May. 2008

I made these cookies for a party and everyone was raving about how good they were and that it was like biting into a piece of pumpkin pie. As a matter of fact, I didn't get to even taste them because all of my guests ate every last one of them!!!

These cookies 'rock'!

by m. mary , Orland Park, IL on Dec. 2006

WOW! I couldn't wait for them to get cool to try and thought they were great, but the next day they were 110% better. Easy to make and froze some for later on and they tasted like they were just made that same day. Next time I want to add some raisins to recipe. Thanks!!

Pumpkin Walnut Cookies

by M. Margaret , WESTLAND, MI on Oct. 2006

I made these cookies for the family dinner we had this past week and they were gone in no time. I did however change the recipe a little since I do not like overly spicy things, I only used half the pumpkin pie spice called for and yet they were still delicious. Also left off the frosting because my brother in law is supposed to watch his sugar.
