FOR SAUCE:
PLACE
strawberries and 2 tablespoons sugar in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. Refrigerate until serving time. To serve, cut into wedges. Garnish with strawberry sauce, whipped cream, strawberries and mint leaves.

My family & friends thought I had spent all day making this dessert. It wasn't that difficult to make. They loved it. I also tried it with strained raspberries. Some liked it better with the strawberries & others liked it better with the raspberries. Now I make 2 cakes and 1 batch of strawberry sauce & 1 batch of raspberry sauce

WOW!

A great cake, an easy recipe, and chocolate, too! What more could a person ask for? This is definitely one of those "keeper" recipes that I will make for our family get-togethers.

Not only is this cake delicious but it is so easy to make. I can whip one up in half an hour. I have made this on several occassions, company coming or my holiday dessert table. I even brought one to my friends house for dessert. It traveled very well. I give it a big thumbs up.
