I needed to use up some butterscotch chips and I'm glad I found this recipe. It was quick and easy to make and my kids loved it. Even my husband thought these were great & he hates peanut butter!

These are very easy to make, as well as tasting very good. There's something about the peanut butter, chocolate, and butterscotch that all taste so good together. One of my husband's favorites - as he likes to just eat butterscotch morsels right out of the bag.

my mother has been making a variation of this recipe for more than 40 years; our version only uses 1 cup peanut butter (one, one, one) to 6 cups rice krispies, and then a regular size bag (11, 12) ounce bag EACH of semi sweet chips & butterscotch cups for the "frosting". we also spread the rice krispies out on small jelly roll/cookie sheet; makes thinner treats spread with lots of nestle goodie "frosting"

yum-yum good
