Wow, these are a great combination of tastes. The great Autumn flavor of Maple is hard to beat. Great for a large group or just family and friends.

I didn't have any cereal, but I crushed up pecan sandies cookies and used them....My-oh-My! I was actually making it for a bake sale, but when hubby & I sampled, he said "make something else for the sale" & he took my fudge squares to his men at work.....Well, we did keep some at home.

Yummy for Dad

by E. E.B. , COLUMBUS, OH on Apr. 2007

I can't wait to make this for my father. He loves anything maple, and fudge is so easy to put through the mail. I've made similar fudge but used the microwave for melting the marshmellow and butter. You just have to remember to stir it every couple of minutes.

I made this recipe yesterday and made two batches. One I made with the Maple flavoring and the other with rum flavoring. They were both scrumptious.
