Chunky Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

These tasty Chunky Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies are easy to make and easily will delight your friends and family.


  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (12-oz pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped peanuts


PREHEAT oven to 375° F.

COMBINE flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and peanut butter in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and peanuts.

DROP dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Press down slightly to flatten into 2-inch circles.

BAKE for 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are set but centers are still soft. Cool on baking sheets for 4 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

i made the recipe, and then divided it in two, used half the batter as plain peanut butter cookies, and added chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips to the remaining half. Loved them both, especially the chips ones!!! will definately make again!!

These tasted very delicious. I made 2 batches of them. One regular and one with lower fat peanut butter and they both turned out great.

I just finished baking these cookies. They are very easy to make and they taste good. I love peanut butter and its not overpowering in these cookies. They did turn out a little flatt though. that might have been from slightly melting my butter a little more because i had no time to let it soften.

Theses cookies were excellent! My husband seriously ate 6 in one sitting. They are more of a flat cookie so if you're expecting fluffy this isn't the one.

I tried this recipe the other day. I wanted to make something a little different. They turned out great. I love the hint of cinnamon in them. I love that they are soft and chewy also. I hate hard crunchy cookies. I think the peanut butter helped with making them soft. I will definitely make these again. My husband loved them.

I didn't have enough chocolate chips after my son found the bag, so I used raisins for the rest of what I lacked. It came out tasting great,however I think next time I buy two bags of chips one for the cookies and one for the walking appetite.

yuck those were terrible! i'm sticking with my tried and true peanut butter cookie recipe and just adding choc chips to it. the consistency was like old cake, they were soft, mushy and mealy.

I loved these cookies! I was looking for something original but a little different to give to my new neighbors as a welcome gift. They turned out very light and very moist.I liked the slight taste of the cinnamon with the peanut butter & chocolate. My neighbors enjoyed them too. I will definitely make again!

I made these today on a whim and they are so good! I used Splenda instead of sugar, otherwise I followed the recipe. Will definitely make again!
