i just finished making this to give to my daughter and son-in-law for valentines' day. i baked, my grand-daughter decorated. of course we also made one for us. glazed in pink, with candy hearts for trim, we're sure mommy and daddy will love it and us for making it for them.

I have always made a "goodie basket" for my children, so I had to come up with something new for the grandchildren. Not only do I decorate the heart cookie on the edges, but I also put their name using their favorite candy in the middle of the heart. Each child feels that they are the most important love of grandma's life, because she did not forget to decorate with their candy. Great way to make someone feel very personal and special.
