Better Than Family Recipe

by P. Paula , MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA on Dec. 2006

I'm a life long biscotti baker. I actually like this recipe better than the one handed down in my family. The flavor is truer than the one I've been using. This easy to follow recipe, makes attractive biscotti with a very pleasant (not overpowering) flavor. This is going in the family cookbook (with an appropriate thank you to Very Best Baking real life bakers).

This biscotti is simple to make and it tastes fabulous! Instead of instant coffee, I used finely ground espresso beans.

Great!

by L. Lauren , Lubbock, Texas on Aug. 2005

This is great if you add in choc. chips and then drizzle them on top also, it makes them a little moist on the inside. I have NEVER tried biscotti before and was a little timid, but WOW! It is great for my first try!
