Holiday Staple

by L. Laura , Salida, CO on Jan. 2010

My family has made this recipe for the holidays (well into January for Superbowl Sunday) for decades. I add regular M&M's as well and make 3 different kinds. 1 batch in regular chocolate, 1 batch in vanilla and 1 batch in butterscotch. Have to say that the butterscotch has become my favorite!!!!

Whenever I go get my Grand-daughters for a visit I always make this for the 3 hour drive to Grandma's house. Now they just expect it and they love it. They each get their own little bag.

I throw many football parties throughout the season and this is always a favorite. After everyone has eaten the chili, nachos and meatballs they are ready for something sweet. This is the perfect treat!

This is easy to make and tastes great! I make a batch and it is gone fast. I use whatever chocolate I feel like at the time. Once, I even mixed the chocolates for a blended taste. It was great.

I made this with the different types of Nestle morsals, all different flavors were great. Good quick snack and great for sending to the troops, if the chocolate melts they can still enjoy it!
