Very Good and Rich

This was excellent. Have made it twice now, but it definitely needs a bit more butter in the crust. Try 8 T. instead of the recommended 6 T. butter. Otherwise some of the crust is just plain powder. This will be a keeper. Will be a great treat for a special occasion.

truly a special dessert

by P. Patti , Franklin, MI on Feb. 2009

This is truly a delicious dessert. The crust is a blend of chocolate and walnuts and provides a crisp texture. The filling is smooth and not too rich with an intense chocolate flavor. The chocolate is nicely enhanced when served with fresh raspberries or strawberries. This is a perfect dessert for a special occassion.

Absolutely wonderful dessert for a bridal shower; both delicious and attractive! Garnered all the ohs and ahs. There are not too many women who do not love chocolate, whipped cream and raspberries! Thank you for the awesome idea.

This is an excellent recipe in every way. The crust is easy to handle and the chocolate filling is lovely. I garnished with fresh raspberries and blueberries slightly glazed with warm raspberry preserves. It was very, very popular. If you want a recipe that really impresses, this is the one!

This recipe was so delicious and SO rich. I made it for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day, since he loves raspberries, and we both loved it. I used a premade crust, and it worked great. I will definitely make this again for any occasion.

This is excellent. I substituted strawberries (my favorite) both in the filling and for the garnish.

Amazingly good and easy

My friend and I made these truffles. How much easier can you get than this. We added a little bit more extract then called for and we used both the Vanilla and Almond. I'm trying cinnamon next time. These were a hit!!!
