This is a good morning starter. I would say always top it with maple or fruit favor syrup. A little more milk is also a good idea since it is a little thick.

Very thick, much more like dough than batter. It's good but I'd put in much more milk, or much less flour. :)

I am not a big fan when it comes to pancakes. The picture alone made me want to try this recipe. I used this recipe two weeks ago for a brunch that I hosted and the women loved it not to mention I also loved it. The recipe was easy and fun to make especially for my daughter whom I might add helped to make the pancakes as well as eat them.

My 7 year old (at that time) son flipped over these pancakes. For a while, I couldn't make any other kind. The recipe is very easy and the kids love it. Whenever he has company, I'm making mini morsel pancakes

Every time I find a new pancake recipe, I can't wait to try it out. This one is truly unique. It is the best of both worlds. It has the taste of the cookie but it is pancake. I really like the taste of of the mini morsels. I substituted the large ones and I felt it changed the taste.

I searched to find the recipie of Mini Morsel Pancakes I made last year for Valentines Day breakfast with my grandson. I found it in February of 2005. I lost my recipe card, made the mistake of not putting it on my file. He loved them, my daughter has made them for him now and then through the year, I want to make them for this Valentines Day, he's in school now, but he asked me if I would make them for Valentines Day supper, our special day. I made sure to add it to my recipie file, now I won't have to search for it again. This year I will be making them for the whole family at supper. I love being a "grammy."
Chocolate in the morning!

I have been basically making this recipe for over 20 years...but had not used brown sugar. My children, who now have children of their own, loved these for Saturdays and any special days. Even their friends who stayed at the house always requested these. Along with the pancakes, I always served fresh fruit...even in the winter!! What fun memories. I am now doing this with my grandchildren. Thanks for all the memories.
