by J. Jodi , Middletown, DE on Aug. 2008

This was a perfect dessert to whip up quickly and at the last minute. The directions are simple and so are the ingredients. It's great for a cook out where there are other desserts because you can cut it in smaller blocks so people can enjoy a small taste. Everyone loved it!

If you like Kentucky Derby pie (pecan pie with chocolate)- you'll love this recipe! Its great with pecans instead of walnuts.

This is a very easy to make, tasty, yummy bar. My family and I couldn't get enough of these. If you are looking for a chocolate-nutty lovers treat, this is the one. I plan on making this one again, just as is!

I thought the recipe was overall very good but i think i would cut down on the amount of chocolate chips used. They were a bit too sweet for my taste.
