Description

This Cookie On A Stick recipe is perfect to collaborate on with your kids -- As much fun to make as they are to eat. Let the creative juices flow! Also a great idea for a holiday cookie!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (16.5 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • 8 wooden craft sticks
  • Decorator icing, various colors (optional)
  • Candies (optional)
  • Melted chocolate (optional)

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 375° F.

SHAPE cookie dough into eight 2-inch balls. Place four balls at a time onto an ungreased baking sheet. Insert wooden sticks into each ball to resemble a lollipop; flatten dough slightly.

BAKE for 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are crisp. Cool on baking sheet for 1 minute; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

DECORATE as desired. Tie ribbons around sticks and give as a cookie bouquet.

NOTE: Dough from one batch Original NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookies (NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels 6-oz. pkg. recipe) may be used.

We've made these numerous times. The kids love to decorate, so at parties, we just make these, then have plenty of decorations on hand, plastic knives are disposable, and let their imagination run. They have a blast.
