These were a hit, and not hard to put together except that the batter is very, very stiff. I would have liked a little more "jelly" taste...it seemed mostly chocolate and peanut butter - but everyone loved them ! I probably would use more jelly next time.
Oh so good

great recipe!my family & co workers loved them...however the next time i bake these i will use peanut butter chips to make them even more peanutty.just another note...i used the chopped canned peanuts that you can get from the ice cream topping aisle for the recipe & for the jelly i used the entire small jar of seedless strawberry jam.

I can't believe how good this really is, but before I cooked all the way, I stirred the middle of the pan and made it look like a swirl and it came out perfect.. After I baked it, I let it rest for half and hour and then refrigerate overnight.. By the next day, I couldn't wait to taste the results, and bam..it was the best pbjelly bar I have ever baked..Thanks for the recipes, everyone is requesting for more..

Since I love peanut butter and jelly in combination, I thought this recipe had it all.....add chocolate chips and it's heaven! The first time I made these, I accidentally left them in a bit too long so that they were crispy. I served them anyway, called them crunchy peanut butter bars....and they were gone in a very short time. The next time, I didn't overbake them. They tasted different, of course, and really tasty. I've had requests for them several times!

I took these in to work for a treat for management. They ate them and sent me a note asking for refills, along with the recipe. It was a big hit.
