Sweet butterscotch, brown sugar and cinnamon give this elegant apple tart a rich aroma and flavor. Perfect served warm with ice cream or whipped topping.

Made this for a co-worker's birthday and brought along whipped cream since we can't accomodate ice cream...anyone who loves Dutch apple pie should just LOVE this! I used a regular springform pan and trimmed with a pie cutter, so no worries if you don't have the tart pan.

This had nice flavor but I probably won't make it again. The apples were dry.

I just hadn't gotten around to trying this sooner however I had apples I needed to use and this looked like the day to bake it. It is a keeper. I made it in the springform pan - aroma baking is wonderful and so is the flavor with the butterscotch chips. I'll be making this again soon.

This recipe was delicious. I served it with Pralines and Cream ice cream which is great for those people with a "sweet tooth".

I was innodated with apples after a day of apple picking and made this tart. My kids like caramel apples, but can't eat them with ease due to braces. This was a great alternative with a little different taste. They were very satisfied. My husband doesn't usually go for dessert, but he ate and really enjoyed this one!!!
