Yummy! This is great tasting and so easy. I used cooked brown rice instead of white rice and substituted coconut milk for evaporated. I can't wait for my family to try it!

This is a perfect comfort food, my Mom use to make this for all family gatherings. It is the best recipe w/ or w/o the dried fruit.

This was better than I expected! I didn't have any nutmeg, so I used cinnamon instead. Next time I don't think I'll use quite as much as it turned the pudding brown. Tastes like the kind baked in the oven without all the work! I'll make this again.

Creamy Rice Pudding

The other night I was going through my very best bakers recipes, and I found this Creamy Rice Pudding recipe, I was so impressed about how easy it was, so I went into the kitchen and made it. It was so easy, but I cooked it a little too long, so I added some International Delight coffee creamer, flavor French Vanilla, and a little bit more milk. My children were very impressed with it, said it wasn't like the one that I have always cooked but they liked it very much. I made another one yesterday and took it to my neighbor who just had surgery, she called me this morning and told me how much she enjoyed the rice pudding. I think I will keep this recipe because it's so easy and good. Thanks for sharing...

VERY GOOD! MY HUSBAND LIKES IT WITH TAPICOIA, THE WAY HIS GRANDMOTHER MADE IT. (NO WAY TO GET HER RECIPE.) I MADE A BOX OF TAPICOIA PUDDING & MIXED THEM TOGETHER WHEN BOTH WERE DONE. EXCELLENT! AND VERY CREAMY.
