IT IS MOIST & MELTS IN YOU'RE MOUTH

delicious!

I made this bread yesterday, and everyone really liked it. Since no one in my house likes nuts, i substituted golden raisins, and didn't sprinkle any on top. I also didn't have any plain cinnamon, so i substituted pumpkin pie spice. It all worked out quite well! The bread was moist and flavorful.

Add some applesauce

by P. Penny , Bailey, NC on Apr. 2005

I had all the ingredients except enough sour cream so I used half sour cream and half apple sauce. I did decrease the coffee but will try the full strength next time. I couldn't taste it at all. It is a wonderful breakfast treat and I'll definitely make it again.

I made this for a get together on Sunday and I did reduce the coffee to 2 Tbsp. and everyone loved it and it smelled so good baking. I made it into mini loafs to give as gifts. I will make it again. Thanks.

I have made this twice. The second time I reduced the coffee by a tablespoon as one review suggested. My husband loved it. I made my into mini loafs to use as gifts. Husband eat so much that I am going to make another go today. I'll have to hide them. Thanks for the great recipes and the reviews with suggestions.

This recipe is delicious! I left out the coffee mixture, adding just a tablespoon of water instead. What a wonderful cinnamon flavor!

This was great to serve toasted w/ a special breakfast for my husband. It wasn't his everyday bagel and it wasn't plain toast, so it was a nice treat to serve

It was ok, nice and moist and it really filled up the pan, but I thought it had a slight bitter taste. Maybe I'll try reducing the amount of coffee next time.
