When I got this recipe, I made it for a potluck at work and everyone loved it so much, they didnt beleive it was made from scratch. I've made brownies before but this recipe seemed so much easier and taste great.

The Best Brownies Ever

by S. SANDY , BILLINGS, MT on Nov. 2007

These are the easiest brownies I've ever made from scratch. My family didn't care for the chocolate chips on top so I omit them and frost the brownies instead. I took some to a friend at church and now almost every Sunday her husband tells how good there were. I'm sure this will be my standard brownie repice from now on.

I Must'a Goofed!

My brownies were too dry! I followed the recipe exactly! The first batch was so dry that I tried a second and they were the same way. Brownies have just never been my strong suit.

A Hit at the Preschool Picnic

by N. NICOLE , HINGHAM, MA on Jun. 2007

I made these brownies to take to my 5 year old son's pre-school family picnic. I had to omit the nuts due to allergies. These came out moist and yummy! I do think next time I will add more chocolate to the batter -- I like my brownies SUPER DUPER chocolate. My son and daughter both give these a double thumbs up! The best part is they are a breeze to make!

Easy like a mix, but tastes better!

by D. Danica , TAYLORSVILLE, UT on Mar. 2007

I made these in about 10 minutes with ease. I already keep all the ingredients on hand, so I didn't have to make a special run to the grocery store to satisfy my cravings for something chocolate. We live at a high altitude, so I actually increased the flour to 1.5 cups instead of 1.3. I also only used two eggs instead of three because I like fudgy brownies more than cake like brownies. These were as fast as making them from a mix and taste better since you use all the ingredients.
