My son loves oatmeal cookies and is away at college. I was looking for a different oatmeal cookie to send to him as a surprise. He and his room mates really loved this. He even CALLED home to thank me. A call home is rare from him. I promised to make these again and he promised to call again.

Great for Gift Giving

I made them for the holidays as gifts in little bags for my nieces and nephews. Unfortunately the adults were eating them from their children so I must make more for Valentine's day gift bags. My son said they could'nt have been healthy because they were too addicting (he ate about 7 in a matter of minutes).

Thank you!!

Yummy! I have been looking for this recipe for a while. My mom used to make this when I was a kid. I am allergic to nuts, so I make this without them. Delicious!

The recipe is quite simple to make. I love oatmeal & am always looking for recipes that include it. I made the recipe to serve after a recent U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary meeting where my husband & I are members. They were a big hit with the Auxiliarists, as well as the Coast Guard! My husband also loves the dessert. I'm sure I will be making it again and again.

I made these for a work lunch and they were gone before we sat down to eat our lunch, what an easy and yummy treat! The girls said "they have everything you love in them". I've been asked over and over to bring them again whenever we have a food day at work!
