It's that time again. The school carnival is just around the corner, so I tried this out last weekend to surprise my grand kids. They were so surprised that they each ask me to donate 1 in each their names to the cake walk. This should work just as well as a ghost, don't ya think.

I made this last year and I loved it. I did the pumpkin and also a ghost. Tastes great and gave thge kids something to do on those dark, rainy alaska days. Great recipe and idea.

Well I don't know what went wrong but my cookies spread out soooo far that it over flowed the pan and I ended up with a thin cookie and I had to trim it back into shape to look like a pumpkin!

I took this to a family get together and everyone loved it. It was easy to make and so cute. I used candy to make the face instead of frosting. Tasted great. I also used orange extract to flavor my orange icing. It doesn't take very much time at all to do! GREAT recipie!!

I have made these with my preschoolers the for several years and they turn out yummy. Often, our measurng isn't exact; usually extra pumpkin and oatmeal ends up in the bowl. The cookies have, nontheless, always been a big hit with the kids and the staff!!
