Pumpkin Pecan Pie
by B. Barb , Minster, OH on Dec. 2008
I really enjoyed this pie. I had never even heard of mixing the two pies and I thought the flavor was excellent. Pecan Pie is usually extra sweet, but I found the sweetness in the Pumpkin Pecan Pie to be just right.

I love baking pies and I like using pecans in my recipes. I love the combination of pumpkin and pecans. I will make this on Thanksgiving. Thanks for the recipe.
This recipe is a keeper
by B. B , WI on Jan. 2008
I actually found this recipe in a magazine years ago and have been making it ever since. My family loves it, especially how the pumpkin layer 'softens' the sweetness of the pecan pie. I've passed the recipe along many many times.
Two pies in one
by C. Cynthia , PITTSBURGH, PA on Jan. 2008
I really wanted to love this recipe, beacuse I absolutely love pumpkin and pecan pies separately. It was delicious, but I expected the flavors to blend together somehow. It was more like eating a bite of pecan pie along with a bite of pumpkin pie. I did, however, find a perfect combination of the two pies with a bit of a twist. It's the walnut crunch pumpkin pie on this site. Fantastic!

I tried this recipe out on my office and they loved it, so I suggested my son and I make it for Thanksgiving...the family loved it and my son now has a new responsibility every Thanksgiving!
Pumpkin Pecan
by S. Stephanie , CLIFTON, VA on Dec. 2007
I decided to experiment for Thanksgiving this year, as my Dad's two favorite pies are Pumpkin and Pecan. Although I was a bit worried at first, once we cut into it it was a HUGE hit! Don't be worried if it doesn't seem done, I had to leave mine in up to 70 min...It's worth the wait!
What a little difference
by C. Cynara , SAN DIEGO, CA on Dec. 2007
This pie was delicious and very simple to make. It made such a pig difference on the variation of the traditional pecan pie, a must have for the holidays.
