This is a good standby recipe for a quick meal. I substituted with hashbrowns instead of bread.

I made this for dinner last night, and used breakfast sausages, which I just cut in pieces and browned, and I added 1/2 cup of green pepper to the recipe as well, and it was a HIT!!!! I will be making it again, by request of my 4 kids and my husband!!! It's a winner!!

I love breakfast for dinner, so I was thrilled that this recipe combines the two. I'm also a vegetarian and it was easy to sub in the veggie sausage!!!

I have made this recipe before but instead of using french bread, I baked it in a 9 in pie crust.
