Great Overseas Cookies

These cookies are perfect if you live overseas and can't always find American ingredients. Hazelnut spread is very popular overseas and so these cookies are great. Of course, I can't get chocolate chips, so I use chopped candy bars instead. I made these cookies for my colleagues at work/school and they loved them! Homemade cookies are hard to come by here, so these were a big hit. I will definitely be making them again. Way to go mom!

These cookies were really awesome, the only downfall was that they get really hard after a day or so but then they would make good biscotti. I would make these again.

This is a really great cookie and if you want to kick up the recipe make them into a sandwich cookie with the leftover chocolate hazelnut spread. It's really good.

My husband loves chocolate chip cookies but I like variety so I'm always open to new ideas that still incorporate chocolate chips. This recipe does that excellently! I toyed with the idea of using walnuts, which I always have on hand, instead of going to the store for hazelnuts. I'm glad I didn't make the substitution. The hazelnut flavour is marvelous.
