This is a great recipe! Moist and flavorful. I used vanilla extract and next time I will use almond because I think it could have used a little more flavor. As with everything, I have difficulty keeping the choc.chips floating in the cake. They all sank to the sides and bottom. I'd like to know how to fix that. Other than that it is a great recipe and I will make it again and again even though it is not incredibly healthy...it's good!

This IS very good! - but very high in fat, calories, and sugar; a small piece is all one needs, but it's very tempting to eat more. Very good almond taste, which my family loves. A delicious recipe to make for special occasions and not an 'everyday treat'. I don't know why it is rated as 'challenging' though. It is very easy to make, and the directions are very clear and easy to follow.

I had read this recipe before and copied it, set it aside and today when I needed a "special cake" I thought of this one. It IS in a word-DELICIOUS. That says it all, easy to make as well. Thank you for giving us such a great site to share with each other.

This cake should have a warning label on it. TOO GOOD, MOIST, RICH, LOVED BY ALL! Will make again! I did have a problem with it spilling over my 12 cup bundt pan, next time I will make a few cupcakes so I don't have the over spill.

I make this cake for my crochet and knitting class. All my classmates enjoy the cake. There were no cake leftover. Even the Office wokers in the Senior Center all like it too.

I baked this bundt cake recipe this afternoon for our Bible study group. Everyone really enjoyed it. I didn't follow the recipe exactly as I got distracted by a telephone call and didn't add the sour cream alternately with the flour and it still turned out well. When I discovered my error, I just put it in and baked it for the time recommended checking it periodically for doneness. We live at 4,000 ft. in elevation so I added about 2 T more flour. I also glazed it when it was warm...as I was running out of time and that worked well. My pan is a 12 cup pan and the recipe rises to use every centimeter of it. When I bake it the next time, I'll leave out a few of the chocolate chips as it over shadowed the almond some. Chocolate is always good. Also, I'll try to find Amaretto to add to the glaze instead of milk for more almond flavor.
