I substituted 3/4 cup of chocolate chips into the recipe for the Butterfingers and found that there wasn't enough chocolate. The cookies were good and rose to look like those in the picture, but they very dense and full of flour.

"Valentine" Sugar Cookies at Christmas

by M. Mrs. , HOUSTON, TX on Dec. 2004

This recipe tastes really great any time of year! I made it plain, without adding the candy and it was still fabulous. It's very easy and fun to do. For fluffier cookies put in two eggs instead of one. I also added about 1/4 cup more sugar for extra sweetness since the candy was not in it. Fantastic, fast and easy!
