  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsalted peanuts, chopped, divided
  • 2 tablespoons caramel topping, divided
  • 1 2/3 cups (11-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Peanut Butter & Milk Chocolate Morsels
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

SPRINKLE 1/4 cup peanuts onto bottom of pie crust. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon caramel topping.

COMBINE morsels and milk in medium, uncovered microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 45 seconds; STIR. The morsels may retain some of their shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

Sprinkle with remaining peanuts and drizzle with remaining caramel topping. Cover; refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Heaven on Earth

by R. Rachel , , on Apr. 2010

I found this recipe when I was craving cheesecake and pie. When I read the ingredients and saw how quick and easy it was, I went for it. Instead of using peanuts I used mini chocolate chips and it's DELICIOUS! When my roomate tried it she was like, "WOW, this tastes like Heaven on Earth." I highly suggest it. It took me 10 minutes to prepare and was all set after 45 minutes in the freezer. YUM

EXCELLENT!!!! you can make it in 5 minutes put it in a cooler with a bunch of ice and take to a gathering of any kind!!! and have no left overs,,, i love this recipe, you can also try different combinations of chips, like i used caramal chips (they dont melt but get soft in the pie) and chocolate, i am not the baker in the family but everyone wanted my recipe!!!!!!! you can not mess this up!!!! just be careful you may have to make 2, 1 for occasion and 1 for home!!!

Great recipe and with only microwave cooking, kids can make this themselves. All you need to do is stand by to watch. A great confidence booster for the kids. The pie tastes great too!

Better than Pumpkin Pie

I made this to go with my Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie - and it was "gobbled up" faster than my Libby's Traditional Pie recipe - easy too. Thank you for a new tradition.
