I also have used this milk for many years. Found its most appealing while camping or R.V.ing. Always available for every meal. I do love S.O.S. not only for breakfast, but any meal. For the meat it can be ground beef or pork. I have also used cooked chopped sauage. Add the milk plus a little water and butter. Thicken with either flour or corn starch. Season as you like, I like season salt and garlic powder.

Since my husband and I don't drink milk, I always have cans of Carnation evaporated milk in the cupboard. I mix it with half-n-half or heavy cream for wonderful cream soups and creamy puddings.

I have always used Carnation in my cooking and baking. I remember when I was little if a recipe didn't call for a whole can of milk, my mother would always let us have the rest. Sometimes with a little sugar and vanilla extract. We always called it "sweet milk". I can taste it now, and occasionally I give my children the same and I always sneak a drink!

Carnation Evaporated Milk has been used in our family for 5 generations of cooking. I remember as a child my Great Granny, Grandma and Mom, using Carnation Evaporated Milk in their baking and cooking. My daughter and I Use Carnation milk in our cooking and baking for richiness and creaminess, in substitute of milk in all our recipes.
