  • 1 box (15 ounces) cream-filled snack cakes, (such as Twinkies)
  • 70 pieces (12.5 ounces) NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER BITES Candy, finely chopped (about 2 1/2 cups)
  • 1 container (9 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed

PREPARE pudding mix according to package directions.

CUT or tear each snack cake into 3 or 4 pieces. Place pieces in 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

SPREAD pudding over cake pieces; top with half of chopped Butterfingers. Cover with whipped topping and remaining chopped Butterfinger. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours before serving. Twinkies is a registered trademark of Interstate Brands Corporation.

I made this but I used a pound cake instead of twinkies. I cubed the pound cake into pieces and used a trifle bowl. I also did a layer of vanilla pudding and a layer of chocolate pudding. It was to die for!

What a wonderful recipe. Quick if you need something in a hurry. Easy so that I can have a recipe for my grandchildren to make on ther own. Taste great and is not to sweet. Will make time and time again. Thank you. God bless you :)

This was a huge hit with everyone at the party that I had. It was so fast and easy and no one could guess that there were twinkies in it. I used dream whip instead of the frozen whipped topping.

For Dessert Lovers

I made this in a Trifle dish, and it looked beautiful. I am now the designated Dessert queen and am always asked to bring a dessert to get togethers. This is very rich, but will make you want to eat more and more

Can't say enough about this cake. Seeing butterfinger candy has been my favorite candy since I was a little girl, this made a perfect desert, really hard to share this with any one. Very easy to make, something you can whip up at the last minute, or for unexpected guests.

Great recipe. Super easy to make and a crowd pleaser. Brought it to a baby shower and everyone wanted the recipe. I've made it several times since then with the same results. It's definitely a keeper!

I have made this twice and people love it. It tastes like you went to a lot of trouble. I don't know who came up with this recipe, but it's a winner!
