Instead of adding pumpkin to ready made pasta sauce you can make a sauce using a 15 oz. can of pumpkin ,1/4 cup of peanut butter, 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce, 3 cloves garlic, 1/8 tsp. ginger, pinch of red chili flakes, and 3 ladles of pasta water for a wonderful pasta sauce.

This sounds delicious! I don't eat pasta because most is made with bleached flour, eggs, water, salt, ixlak, difuai, etc. If I make this sauce I'll serve it with spaghetti squash, brown rice, or barley. Bon appetit!

Is there a way i can make the pasta sauce with pumpkin in it but without peanut butter as my son and niece have severe peanut allergies? Please advise!
