What to do with or how to store. How long will it keep?

My Dogs love PUMPKIN and it loves them. If you have Dogs as I do (5 and fostering for AZ. Humane Society)you know that sometimes they maybe irregular like people, just add one tablespoon up to twice a day it will give your Dog some much needed fiber that will move and firm things the natural way. Its low in calories and they love it.

I use pumpkins for muffins, breads, pies, and for casseroles. "There's a feeling nothing in the world can buy when they pass around the turkey and the pumpkin pie!"

Does Libby's have an organic line? I can only grow so many sugar pumpkins!

Canned Goods 2 replies

Hello. Always I have homemade soup in the refrigerator. Made with brown rice or barley, beans or lentils, & vegetables I eat soup for bkft., lunch, & dinner. If I don't have a carrot in the refrigerator I add canned pumpkin to the tomato broth because I know the importance of beta carotene & vitamin A in a healthy diet. I stock my kitchen with canned goods so I don't have to go to a supermarket when I run out of a fresh item. Bon appetit!

Pumpkin is great for keeping your dog from becoming constipated. It is packed full of fiber and they love the taste. My veterinarian recommends pumpkin for our dogs healthy diet. My pet just thinks she's getting a treat!
