
Meet Paula - NESTLÉ® Food Technologist
Hello!
What exactly is a food technologist? I make sure that when you make cookies with NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE refrigerated dough, they come out rich, gooey and delicious every time!
I have loved Chemistry since I was in high school, where my Chemistry teacher used to encourage me to do all kinds of chemical experiments in the lab. Later on, I applied chemistry to another of my favorite things – I got a Master’s Degree in Food Chemistry. That became my career.
There really is a science to baking. But it isn’t just about science. When I bake with my daughter, son, daughter-in-law and husband, it's definitely more about spending time with them than exactly how much flour to use. Still, it’s great to know that our goodies are going to taste great when we’re done!
