We recently moved from Florida to Virginia to be near our family. We bought a home large enough to have overnight visitors. In fact, one room is the "youth guest room" and one is the "adult guest room".
Not long after we moved, our great-granddaughter (4 yrs old) decided to help "grandma Nancy" with the baking. She is now doing most of the activities of baking. The first time her mother watched her break an egg, her mother was flabbergasted. She has become proficient at measuring dry ingredients. She learned real fast not to turn the mixer on high with only dry ingredients in the bowl!
She now thinks that anytime she is here, we should be baking. We have made cookies, cakes, bread, and pretzels. She even helped decorate her own birthday cake.

Now her brother (almost 3) thinks it's his turn.

What a joy to share my love of cooking with another generation!

What great kids Nancy!  You must be so proud and you should be.  They are the makings of a whole new generation of bakers.  The things they learn while they are young will stay with them always as will the memory of Grandma Nancy teaching them to bake.

Nancy A.,  The grandkids are really cute. I did a lot of baking with the grandkids when
they were younger and we all enjoyed it! Spend a lot of time with them because they
grow up fast and have so many other things that they need to do. You are a very lucky
grandma!!!
