When I was a young girl living in Long Beach, California, ..between the ages of 5 through 15...I would get excited hearing that MOM was going to make a batch of Nestle chocolate chip cookies...I had this secret, this HUGE secret, (so it seemed to me)..I would sneak in the kitchen when she wasn't looking and scoop a finger full of raw dough from the batch she just finished making and eat it..YUMMMMM.....it was so scrumptious I repeated that many time through the years...I found out however, years later, when I was older, that Mom knew I was doing it all the time and she let me think I was doing a DARING MISDEED...all the while smiling at HER secret of knowing about the my "sneeky" fingers.
This is a warm and happy memory..and I still take a scoop when I make my own chocolate chip cookies, and so did my children.

Cute story, I can relate to! I always ejoyed putting my fingers in the cookie dough when my mom was baking. Now my daughter enjoys it too. Thanks for sharing that great story!

What a cute story! I know of a person who will not eat raw cookie dough because of the raw egg in it. I myself don't see what the big deal is.
