Last year I was looking everywhere for your melted chocolate and couldn't find it anywhere. I finally came to your web page and you told me where to find it and sent me coupons. I told my family where to buy it and ended up with about 10 boxes of the stuff. It was great but now I'm almost out again.

I haven't been able to find this product either and have been melting morsels and thinning with milk as a substitute.

You can also send a comment or question directly to VBB and they are pretty good about responding in a timely manner. At least that has been my experience in the past.

I can't find it here either ..... and I was all set to make the Brownie Peanut Butter Bonbons.  Frown
I think maybe if I go into the next town - to the expensive, but delightful - grocery, they might have it.

Look up "Choco Bake" under Toll House Baking Ingredients and a list of stores in your area that carry it should appear: http://www.verybestbaking.com/General/WhereToBuy.aspx

Glad you like it!

I just tried ""Choco Bake" under Toll House Baking Ingredients and a list of stores in your area that carry it should appear: www.verybestbaking.com/General/WhereToBuy.aspx">http://www.verybestbaking.com/General/WhereToBuy.aspx " and, of all things, it showed only my local Wal-Mart.   I know that place better than most of the employees.  Just this afternoon I was shopping there and checked again for the pre-melted chocolate.  There was none, no space for it and I asked an employee who had never even heard of it.

And your site didn't mention any other stores in my area - just the local Wal-Mart that doesn't carry it.
I'll check my local Frick's and neighboring Schnuck's.

This morning I took a deep breath and drove to the giant WalMart in the neighboring town ... looking for Nestles Baking Liquid Chocolate.   They didn't have it and the woman who is in charge of the baking dept. has never even heard of it.

So I drove to the neighboring Schnucks( fantastic store with all sorts of things ... dried strawberries!!) and they didn't have it - had never heard of it.

Then I drove back to my hometown to check the little Frick's store.  They didn't have it.

Where in east central Missouri can I find that stuff?

Today I searched on the Internet and found some .... some I can't afford.

Nestle Choco-Bake, 8 oz. - 6 Unit Pack ----  $25.41
Plus $11.45 shipping (!!)

Total $36.86  or $ 6.14 per pkg.

I hope  I evenbtually find it in a store for less than $6.14 pkg.

I had posted this in another section, Ask Very Best Baking and several people mentioned that you can use the regular substitute for the choco bake.  Cocoa powder and butter or oil.  For each ounce of Choco Bake use 3 Tb cocoa and 1 Tb butter or oil.  That is the usual substitute for unsweetened solid chocolate.
