My 4 year old daughter Lexi and I were in the kitchen. I was preparing dinner and my daughter asked if she could help. I thought to myself, "What can she make that is safe and easy?". I finally told her, let's have you make special desserts for everyone. We took pretty glass cups and crumbled chocolate cookies on each bottom. She then topped the cookies with pudding cups. I showed her how to top each with whip cream and the final touch was a chocolate cookie stuck on the side. She was so excited and brought it out to her father on a platter. This made me smile and realize little things like this are making a big impression.

That's how they learn. What a wonderful introduction to learning to prepare and serve goodies. I hope her Daddy was properly impressed.
