One of my favorite memories, as a child, is visiting my Granny. She was so sweet, only 4 ft 11 in. tall, and with that purple tinted, silver hair. My granny was a wonderful cook and baker. I always looked forward to the taste of her Old-Fashioned Egg Custard Pie. I loved the sweet taste and smooth texture of this delicious pie! I wish I had her recipe as I haven't tasted another pie like this since. Thank goodness for grandmothers and precious memories!

Thanks s much for the memory! your Granny sounds exactly like mine! my Granny was the same size and had the same hair. But my granny's favorite pie was apple from their trees they grew. There are some foods even if we had the recipe would not taste the same because whomever made them put their love in! Thanks again! You made my day! GOD BLESS YOU!
