One of my favorite memories is of making simple chocolate fudge on Sundays in the wintertime. We didn't have the modern conveniences of even tv, let along WII, Nintendo, etc. We played games every Sunday afternoon in the winter, if we weren't outside sledding or ice skating. Mom would make chocolate fudge and popcorn and we would spend our time playing Chinese Checkers or Canasta. What fun we had!

Ditto with me. We played outdoors and had no t.v. either. We always had something to do and never lacked for outside entertainment.
