When I was little, we used to drive 3 hours from my home town to my aunt shirley and uncle rogers house. they own a lot of land, and the guys always would take off up in the mountains during the day to go hunt. The ladies would be back at the house having fun doing crafts and making dinner for the guys to come home to. Well every time (that i can remember) me, my cousins Meriah, and Hannah would always help our aunt shirley make THE BEST chocolate chip cookies for dessert. We ALWAYS had a mess made out of the kitchen and always took home great memories.

That is so sweet, all of you together in the kitchen.  I think the kitchen is the best room in the house.

What significance is the name Azalea on your recipe?

Great memory, but...where do the Azaleas fit in? Did the property abound with azaleas in the summer????

Nice memories.  I, too, wonder what Azalea means with chocolate chips.
