My daughter and I had just moved from California to Oklahoma. We worked at making our house a home. Every day when she came home from school I would have freshly baked bread and soup or stew ready for her. One day I made a pumpkin focaccia. Today my daughter will not eat any soup, but she looks forward to fall and the smell and taste of pumpkin focaccia. It has become a traditional bread you can find in my kitchen when the tempeture starts to drop. Even our neighbors look forward to getting a slice or two.
