I had baked a Red Velvet Bundt cake for a guy I once worked with, that was two years ago. Okay, I'm walking
from the mail box at the apartment complex I recently
moved into somewhere in the not so distant future and I pass a pizza delivery man. He said, "Hey, Red Velvet cake lady." I turned and realized who it was. Apparently, he never forgot the cake I made him. He asked
if I still baked and I replied, of course. He then proceeded to order another cake. I took his number so that could call him tell him when it was ready. How about
the for serendipity?

OOps! now to finish. I was known for my cakes and one year, I fell and broke my arm in several places which required surgery and at least 8 weeks of medical leave. When i call ed my boss from my hospital room, do you think her first words were "I'm sorry, hope you feel better"? No, they were "Oh my God, how are we gonna get our cake this week?" Believe it or not, it made me laugh and feel better.

I've noticed purchaed Red Velvet cakes have a cream cheese frosting.  The real thing is supposed to have a special frosting which I think makes the whole thing much better.

Judy O,  My mom and sister always made the red velvet cakes and it had a cooked frosting.  I like cream cheese but
I like the cooked frosting better on that cake.
