Recently we were lucky enough to have two evacuees from hurricane Ike and I made a new brownie recipe from my Mom. I had seen it in her old recipe book several times before and finally made it. I make an awesome TX chocolate sheet cake with awesome frosting, so I was surprised when the recipe called for white sugar instead of powdered. I didn't trust the recipe so I made the one I use on my cake and then could not decide which one would be best and with new mouths to feed, I was worried about it tasting good. Well, I went with Mom's frosting recipe and it was really very good!! Better than I thought, but the other frosting, everyone just kept sticking their fingers in it throughout the day because it was just as good!! What a dilemma to have!!
